While the practice only deals with endocrine issues, the total patient is our primary concern, and we pride ourselves on providing personal and friendly care. Robert A. Levine, MD is Board Certified in Endocrinology and Metabolism. The practice is limited to disorders of the endocrine system, including the pituitary gland, thyroid, and adrenal glands. The practice has a special interest in thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer. Disorders of growth, development, and puberty are seen, as well as reproductive problems. Metabolic bone disorders, including osteoporosis are treated.

Announcements
The detection and management of thyroid cancer are among Dr. Levine's main clinical interests. Dr. Levine is one of three instructors for the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists for thyroid ultrasound and fine needle aspiration biopsy of the thyroid. He teaches courses in thyroid ultrasound and thyroid cancer throughout the country. The office is equipped with a state of the art Technos ultrasound machine.
Dr. Levine is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Dartmouth Medical College, in Hanover, New Hampshire.
Nancy Lake, ARNP, a nurse practitioner has joined the practice of Dr. Robert Levine. Nancy previously was at Harvard Vangaurd for over 12 years, and was involved in the establishment of their chronic disease management program for diabetes. Prior to that she worked at the Massachusetts General Hospital as an instructor and nurse in the post anesthesia care unit. She will be working closely with Dr. Levine in the management of patients with diabetes, hypothyroidism, osteoporosis, and the metabolic syndrome.
Dr. Margaret Flynn, Board Certified in Endocrinology and Metabolism has rejoined Dr. Levine, practicing general Endocrinology. Dr. Flynn graduated from Dartmouth Medical School, and completed an Endocrine Fellowship at New England Deaconess Hospital.
